I just bought a inova t1 a single cell cr123 light review of the t1 and was wondering if anyone knows if the t1 can run off of 1 rechargeable r123 at around 4.1 volts hot off the charger. I just tested a new box of surefire cr123's and most were around 3.2 volts.Would 1 volt really make that big of a difference? I would love to be able to run this thing with guilt free lumens. If you have any info please let me know by posting here..
Thanks
Mike..

Inova doesn't recommend over 3V for the T1. Under load your primary CR123's will be right about 3V. I use 3.0V regulated RCR123's I got from Batteryjunction.com or Batterystation. AW also sells them on his battery sales thread in the dealer section here on CPF. I have used them in my T1 and T3 for several months without incident. They read 3.6V no load, but I'm told they drop to around 3V under load. I have not verified this.

How is the performance of the 3V RCR123s in the T3? Output? Runtime? Regulation? Are a pair of RCR123s advisable for an Inova X5 (CS)? For the new XO?
