Found some of the little 3 button celled, single Nichia, fold-out book lights at BigLots for $3. These are marketed by Neo Glo. They are like some I've seen at Brookstone for much more. Really more novelty than anything. The neatest thing is the way it slowly unfolds and lights up after pressing the button on the side. Might not be all that practical using button cells.
