Your post states "Finned head...grooved body" but the picture looks like a grooved head and body--am I looking at it wrong? Also, are the batteries included? Thanks

That's the normal type of fins you'll see.

It is hard to tell how deep the 'fin grooves' on the head are from the angle of the picture, you really need to see a direct side picture to see how deep they are.
