KL1 vs. E2L circuitry

Obviously the KL1 circuity is in the head. So it can be attached to an E2e body and work (E2e body has no circuity).

Anybody know if the E2L body contains the circuity (much like the L* series lights from surefire)? Would an E2L head work an E2e body the same as a KL1 head works and E2e body?

The circuitry only exists in the head of the light. An E2L is essentially an E2e body with a KL1 head and a clickie tailcap. Also the clip is a little longer on the E2L. So to answer the question, it would work since they are the same head.

Hope that made sense :)

Yeah, the E1L and E2L both have KL1 heads on standard E series bodies (no electronics in the bodies).

This is one of the great features to the E-series lights, everything is interchangeable!!!
