Can 3.7v AAA Rechargeable be used in ARC AAA Premium?

heh... i'm sure you CAN use them... but you'll be pushing the 5mm way over the spec mA's...

I believe the current arc gets around 50~60ma's.... as far as I know that is the peak current to get the highest brightness from a nichia 5mm... anymore or any less and it'll get dimmer.... more and you'll be killing its life...

there are some mod's that use a mini-flupic / lux. which does require the li-ions you speak of... however, if your using the stock LED/stock driver... the typical batteries that are > ~1.7 is what you want

I believe the answer is no. I'm sure this has been discussed before. Please check in the Arc forum over here: http://candlepowerforums.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=34

Try using the search function in that forum for words like Li-Ion or rechargeable. The search function is a very useful tool.
