Is a 8 watt luxeon 2 lux III's and 2 lux I's??

I'm confused I thought they only made lux I's and lux III's. I didn't think they went any higher that a lux V and I just thought a lux V was a lux III and 2 lux I's

no its more than likely just a luxeon 5 watt overdriven to 8watts

Are the off brand, el cheapo, overdriven (non-luxeon) flashlights pretty much junk or is just hit or miss on quality with those things.

Are there any good (cheap stock) overdriven lights on the market?

It's an overdriven lux III clone. Not really 8 watts, but still very bright.

The "8W" is a measure of how much power the batteries are delivering, not how much power that the LED is getting, so it's just marketing BS, and in a nutshell, lying.

i will like lumiled to make use of the k2's technology to withstand high temp and put 4 of them together like in the lux V. it will be good huh? of course, they need to cut the corners(somehow) so that it becomes at octagon shape,which is better for reflector as there will be no donut holes...
