I found out the hard way that you need to make sure the Yukon is switched off when you change the batteries. I killed one of the 5mm LED's on mine. The others still work, but I was a little ticked when that happened.

I had one, it's not a bad light... but it's got no regulation, and no heatsinking for the Luxeon emitter. IMHO, the Apex has made the Yukon obsolete.

Of course I meant to say who got Yukon for a good price? Pretty much the best deal I can find on ebay at 40 tokens shipped?

thanks for the comments... my thoughts:

1. No regulation in Yukon? is that necessarily a bad thing?

2. Apex is 3W vs. 1W of Yukon, this means the run time should be lower, as their web page explains

3. Apex is considerably expensive, on ebay ~60.

To me, it seems like Yukon is a better deal, longer run time which I would prefer over more Wattage.

I'll sell you my Yukon, in excellent condition, for $35 plus shipping if you are interested.
