I really, really want to use rechargeables in my U2 but I am skeereed that I will screw it up when I pull the sleeve out of the tube.

I need courage.

Must have courage.

Is it easy or is it hard? Can I put it back in after I pull it out:naughty:?

If you are willing to sacrifice runtime then I would suggest getting 17670's batteries.

I have the newer model U2 that does not have the sleeve and can only take the 17670's, but I am very happy with these with a runtime of 50 minutes on level 6...longer runtime on lower levels. I personally don't use mine at level 6 constantly where I find the lower levels sufficient 80% of the time plus you could carry a spare.
I bought my DSD chager and 17670 batteries from Lighthound.com
