U2 latest generation tailcap...3 or 4 tab?

How many tabs does the latest U2 have in the tailcap? Has the switch problem been fixed in these lights? Thanks. Dave

My replacement U2 has 4 over the 3 of the original. The switch has worked fine for some time. I did have to adjust the tabs once after mating the tailcap to other lights. Since then, its been dedicated to the U2 with no problems.

I have 4 tabs on both U2's...I bought the 1st one a month ago, and my 2nd 2 days ago. both work perfectly from the factory.

I sent my U2 in for RMA due to a bad tail switch. This was in December 2005. It came back near the end of January 2006. The switch that came in the replacement has three tabs. It has been working perfectly.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Looks like both the 3 and 4 tabs work fine. Wonder if there was ever a two tab?

Never heard of 2 tabs. My first one had 3, all others have had 4.
