What output voltage does the Inova X1 driver hand the led? Does it increase it or does the circuitry simply regulate the output? I'm looking to mode it with a new emitter and wondered if it was worth my time with the given driver.. Thanks!

It's likely a boost circuit that will try to hold output voltage. However, depending on the LED you use, the current may be too much or not enough. Most white LEDs are in the range of 3V - 4V VF, be it 5mm, 0.5W, Rigel, Lux, Jupiter, etc., so the driver would be set up with a voltage in between (3.5V?, 3.3V?). However, the current is limited in that driver so you won't be able to drive a Lux very hard unless you find a way to modify the driver.
