i gave this guy 2 AA RR re rides hi bike all the time, and i recentll heard him say "its still working" he has probably beeen using it every day for about 10 months, so what should i get for him to replace it, something with some sidespill, good throw, and have a longer runtime than the RR 2 AA. Oh and it has to be around the same size, he always carrys it in his back pocket. I bet the first reply im going to get is the PP 4 AA luxeon, i really dont want to spend that much, but its a really good light, what else do you reccomend??
Thanks

Actually, my response would have been a Fenix L2P or L2T, but these are more expensive than the Streamlight PP. A Nuwai X-3 would be a cheaper alternative to a Fenix, but price is still inline with the SL.

I say take a look at the Inova Radiant AA at Target. $20, tough plastic body, decent beam for a Lux I light. The Nuwai ALX-2512AA isn't too bad a light either (available under different brand names too).
