Anyone have the older model Dorcy 3D 1W?

That's the early model Dorcy 1W 3D. Don't have that one so I don't know anything about it.

I've got the later model (from the Target closeout) which is different: brighter (about 4000 cd in fresh alkies). Don't know how long it runs for, probably quite a while. Mine doesn't show any sign of that runtime curve but seems to decay like a normal DD alkaline. It stays bright a long time because it starts out so bright.

If you get one now, it would probably be the later model.

Personally, I think that funny curve in FLR was a sign of something wrong with that light. Maybe a loose contact or fouling that got burned away during the run. Just my opinion...
