Q3 and Peak CPF special lenses?

I posted this in the Peak forum, but didn't get much, so I'm asking here.

I tried the lens for the minimag in the CPF special, and it was just a tiny bit too big. The next smallest size on FlashlightLens.com is 22 mm, down from 22.6, for the Nuwai Q3.

Does anyone know if this would fit well enough on the CPF special?

Does anyone have a Q3 and a CPF special or Rainier, and could spare a moment to see if the lens fits?

22mm should fit fine.

Since I bought one of these 22mm lenses from flashlightlens.com for my QIII and received it a few days ago, I can assure you it fits fine.

A 22mm sould fit. But, a careful sanding make do the trick for you.

The main reason for getting it is because the original one is plastic and scratches up easily. It does make a difference to the amount of light passing through the lens but not so much as you would notice normally.

Does anyone happen to have calipers?

I measure about 21.94 mm on the glass lens
21.6 on the plastic
and 21.85 mm on the inside of the Peak.

So close, yet so far :ohgeez:

sorry, no calipers.

a 22mm crystal dropped into three different Q3 bezels with any problems for me.

But for your situation, .3mm is not much sanding to do. :grin2:
