They won't be quite the same as native D cells, but you might try using upsizers available here. I got my ZTS tester from them with no problems.

only expienced users should be handling these Huge D li-ion cells. these cells require protection circuits, which would be hard to fit in a stock 2D mag.
also charging precautions should be taken....
D sized li-ion cells should only be used by experienced folks.

This is the reason why I sell this cells.cy said:
There is not enough space for the protection PCB without boring.
An other problem is that you cannot solder to these cells without destroy it.
I have solder to the cap of 1 cell (with special safety precaution of course) and have kill the PTC!
