A local store near me in Southern, NH ("Dollar Bill's") has these Chinese made 3-AAA LED lights for $1.99 each. They have 6 white LED in a circular pattern in a reflector (sorry, no picture yet). They have a 3-AAA cartridge holder and a tail cap on/off switch.

I did find one on e-Bay at

I'm doing an impromptu run time test now. I'm almost 7 hours into test and I'd guess we're at about 70-75% of maximum brightness.

I saw those 9 LED lights, and no these only have 6 LED's.

I'm now at 17 hours into my runtime test and I'd guess we're now at "moon light" level. So, I'd guess-t-mate the light puts out about 7 hours of decent light (for a $1.99 flashlight).

A local "dollar" store near me has that same 9LED with 3 AAA batteries included for $1!

Would that be a "Dollar Tree" store or a "Family Dollar"? I have both near me and I'll run out and check if it's at either.

That is an unbelievable price for that light, if it's the same thing.

I'll be looking for it.
