How many Lumens(Inova X1)Gerber Infinity Ultra

Hi

How many lumens in the Inova X1 light and the Gerber Infinity Ultra?
Is more better?
I know little about Lumens.
My original post was about getting one of these lights. Tan a few people sugested thhe Fenix L1P or the L1T which both seem to have alot of lumens.
Any help on Lumens and which of these lights is better and why would be appreciated.
Last question are the Fenix lights available in Canada> I live in Victoria BC.

They are between 5-8lm. I would pick the Ultra only because its smaller. I think Inova's are more reliable.

Why do you feel that the Inova is more reliable? I have had no problems with my Gerber and I have used it plenty.

Lumens is a measure of the total light output, not just the brightness of the center of the hotspot.

For a rough estimate of lumens. Take the overall rating from flashlight reviews.com and multiple by 1.4.

I had one for about 2 Years (T3) and its still extremely solid. Inova is also more Known that Gerber IMHO. The Inova looks better too.
