Some guys cassette collection webpage I found.

http://homepage3.nifty.com/hanazuc/cassette/

I could recognize the TDK D-90s since I have a bunch of them as well as the colorful Memorex dBS series, Fugi DR-I, a couple Maxell XL-IIs, the Sony HF, and a TEAC Cobalt that I remember my grandmother once had.

Some high quality tapes he had there.

Nakamichi, Teac, Fisher.

I wonder if anyone has a CD collection like this.

Ok, for recording casssettes, which did you think was better, TDK or Maxell? Do you think the "metal" tapes were worth the extra cost?

Oh I wish, I wish, I wish I could but I can't, find my old scotch cassettes that I had as a kid in the 70s that I used to walk around with my cassette player and record conversations. Dang, the memories.

I always used TDK metal's, you could really hear the difference. I always found that with D90's you would lose some of the finer notes and back ground sounds.
