Welcome to CPF! Good to see another european here :)

While the light you're asking about looks quite nice, I wouldn't buy it. The 7watt thing is a bit of a marketing gimmick. There simply is no 7 watt luxeon. So far most 7 watt lights we've encountered here are heavily overdriven 3 watt luxeons, which will not do much good for the lifespan of the led. Then there's the fact that the light is powered by 3xAAA batteries, and most likely not regulated. Which will give you short runtime and quickly diminishing output.

For a similar amount of money, you could buy a light like this one:

Several people here on CPF have them and like them.

I think you might be better off with this:

http://www.qualitychinagoods.com/golstonreg-2xlir123a-waterproof-rechargeable-recommended-p-409.html

and to cut runningcost, combine it with this:

http://www.qualitychinagoods.com/dsdreg-2bay-charger-plus-750mah-lir123a-protected-p-339.html

While this combo is a bit more expensive than the light you suggested, It is a more "proven" light which quite a few people on CPF own, and with the rechargeables, it will pay for itself in the long run! guilt free lumens :)

You could save a couple of $$ by using unprotected Li-ions, but I wouldn't reccomend iit.

The only way I know to get brighter and cheaper than the the Fenix L2T is to go with 4xAA models, like the Streamlight ProPolymer 1W Luxeon or the UK eLED. I've got the ProPoly, and it's a helluva thrower - it's about ~50-60% brighter than the L2T on high. You can get it for about $25 from Fox Intl.

I don't know of any 2AA or 3AAA models that clearly beat the L2T (although there are certainly a number of equivalents, like the LiteFlux LF1). The single-mode Ultrafire WF601A is certainly popular here, and cheaper than a Fenix at around $20 shipped - but my specimen has about 15% less throw and 25% less output than my L2T. Plus construction is cheaper than the Fenix. Of course, YMMV ...

Sinon tu as çà:
http://cgi.ebay.fr/G-P-X9-High-Output-5W-LED-140-Lumens-Flashlight-GP494_W0QQitemZ270003451932QQihZ017QQcategoryZ106987QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

ciao

From the appearance of the light, it resembles the construction and style of a 2AA 3W light that I purchased from AXShop.com. Although some found the workmanship poor on their samples, mine was very well built. Good machining, finish, and tight bright beam.
No threads were glued.
I believe it's also marketed under the SMARTFIRE name.

The Blimp is more than likely a 3W light that is overdriven. The 7W rating is misleading. As it is the overall power drain measured at the batteries, which include the power loss through the resistor. Or, it's just an outright lie.
I don't think it's possible to get 7W at the LED from 3AAA.

It should be as bright as any 3W Chinese made light, but the runtime will be short from 3AAA.
I originaly paid $13.00 USD for my 2AA version. So, my opinion is that $19.XX for this model is not a very good deal. There are many other options at this price range.

This BLIMP is truely a surprise performer. It appears to be every bit as good as what the reviewer in www.fifthunit.com stated. I tried it against my other 3 watts luxeon side-by-side. The result simply blows my 3 watts luxeon away.
