couldn't find mention of the led maglite

been a while since i been on here. but when i was a lot were anticipating the arrival of the maglite led's I noticed my walmart has i think it was a two or three c or d cell 3watt mags in now and made my way to the forum to see if there were any reviews or opinions. thanks guys

this should get you started. i have the 2D and i enjoy it a great deal. i haven't needed it for extended periods yet and so haven't really noticed the drop off that others report. YMMV

sorry i didn't mean maglite led drop in. i mean maglite has a full 3watt flashlight available now. not just the drop in's.

Same thing the new 3W mag light is simply the old one with the drop in sold as a unit. They even come with a old style incandecent bulb in the bottom.

If I am not mistaken it is the same bulb as the drop in. They are one in the same.
I don't have one but I am sure I saw that mentioned here.
