Hi everyone,

I recently invested in a brand new laser engraver and would like to offer
my services to fellow CPF'ers :)

It's a 25W CO2 laser made by versalaser.com
I've also got the Cylindrical Object Rotary Attachment so I can engrave
on a round surface up to 5" in diameter.

Prices start at $20 for one unit. It all depends on the complexity of the
engraving and how much setup time is needed. I do prefer
bigger orders as it cuts down on setup time.

For simple single line engravings, you can just go through my store here:
http://fenix-store.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_35&products_id=93

Email me for quotes on engraving more than one unit :)
[email protected]

I'd appreciate it if you all would send some business my way to help with
the engraver :)

:D

Cool this will be great for gifts.
P.S. you picture with the muliple P1's is a bit small to see the engraving clearly.

Yeah I need to take some better pictures. The third picture was hastily
taken with a phone cam :) Next time I do a run I need to take some
better pictures.

Very interesting. I machine a lot of light parts and have them HA-III and have been looking at laser engravers here in Dallas. You would be a good alternative.

Can you send a few photos of your work, esp. engraving of Al parts that have been HAd?

...and 4sevens is great to deal with!

Could you engrave on a Minimag?
Is there any list of what lights you can and can't do?

Naturally, engraving on black or darker annodizing is clearer. The engraver
will "mark" bare metals.

sure can.

Can you engrave Ti? :naughty:

I sure can try :) I don't have a ti light to test :)

The only criteria basically is the surface of that is to be engraved needs
to be either flat or if it's cylidrical, the diameter needs to be the same
where the engraving is desired.

For example, the tapered head of the mini mag can only have engraving
axially and not lengthwise and with small text so that the diameter
doesn't change much. does that make sense?

:)

Seriously, I will send you something tomorrow to try engraving in Titanium.

How about one of the older style Titanium Orb Raws? Nothing but flat and round on that light to engrave!
buttrock.gif
Just don`t go changing the emitter out in the light when you have it for a better one this time!

You are far too nice of a kind Gentleman! :buddies:

Ken

Ken!

A Ti orb showed up on my doorstep! If not your name, what should I
engrave? I have some special compound to apply to bare metal to make
the engraving stunning! What is engraved turns BLACK like this:

Here is some of my recent work :D

Couple of questions about the laser engraving. If you are going to engrave 5+ lights with the same single line, do all the lights have to be the same diameter? Also, do we have a choice of fonts? Thanks for your time.............Wallace

No it doesn't have to be the same diameter, but I have to change the
setup each time, so it's pretty much like 5 different engravings.

You can use any font you want. A word document is fine. (if you
use unique fonts, please include them too!)
