I got one of those impregnated silver polishing cloths that all the supermarkets sell and once a week I give the Raw NS a 5 minute rub down with it. Does wonders in keeping it shiny. I'm not sure if it would affect the glass but as the cloth doesn't touch the lens I'm not worried. For a pound or two, well worth it.

Many clarinets are made using nickle-silver for the keywork. I find that Semichrome polish works wonders for shining up the keys.

But with one of the impregnated clothes you don't have to spend time getting all the bits of polish out of the nooks and crannys afterwards. Just wipe with the cloth and it's done.
