Inova T1 brighter than T2?

My Inova T2 arrived today. it's beautiful. I was a little suprised to see it is not quite as bright as my T1. I'm guessing the T2 has a longer run time. I like the T2, yet I must admit I expected it to be a bit brighter that my T1. Is this normal? (BTW yes batteries are new in T2)

I find them to be about the same output. On paper the T2 is slightly brighter, but in the real world it is hard to see.

Big difference is in runtime. T2 has the longest runtime of the series at over 5 hours which is really a big advantage.
