I can not really trust in that site.
If you look at the first link above, according to the position of the knob the DMM is set to 20A DC. So they are actually measuring the short ciruit current of the cells and name it the capacity! They also reversed the polarity in all measurements (quite unusual).
IMHO it seems all to be doubtful.

Has the 7 watt three AAA been discussed on cpf before? I can't find any info doing a search.

I assume none of these lights are regulated.

One only need to worry about regulation when using alkalines. Lithiums & NiMH give a fairly constant output without regulation. Hope they use xxxJ (or even lower Vf) bin emitters with say a 1 ohm resister so NiMH batteries can be used.

I wish fifthunit would send one light to flashlight reviews so we can get a feel of how they compare to other manufacturers lights. Right now all we got are internal reviews (every one thinks their design is the greatest).
