Hi all! This thread's for the car lovers.
I got a chance to join my wife on Sunday at the 2006 Concours D'elegance at Pebble Beach CA. She was a sponsor there so I got a pass to walk pretty much anywhere I wanted. I snapped a bunch of pics for those of you who like these types of cars etc.
There were a ton of high brow cars driving around town. You couldn't swing a polo mallet without hitting a modena or some other exotic.
I see a lot of them around town but this was way different.
Enjoy
I'll start with a car that I had wished I'd read the plaque for its name when I was there.
I love that old RUSH tune Red Barchetta
Restored Old and Original Old cars
Top one's an old Harley!
On the green at Pebble Beach with Jay Leno.
I'm pretty sure this is a Lamborghini SUV
Holy crap! I missed driving this $1.8m Bugatti by 30-minutes! Only five in the country.
More Cars outside for show.
This was the Sunday night RM Gooding Auction where the highest bid was over $2m with a few over $1m and a lot arounf $500k - Lotta high rollers in this room.
Oh yes... The Larry light added a bit of value to this one but it wasn't on the block for bid. :naughty:
