Looks like there's going to be lots of cheap, powerful, used boxes around for anyone who wants to experiment with *nix.

I should be ok, I've got 2GB. :D

But I am upgrading for DirectX 10 And I will be upgrading to 4GB. :)

I would use Linux but I don't for 2 reasons, Im a gamer and I don't have the PHD to operate it. ;)

Wow, how sad. Once again MS verifies how they can't write stable and efficient code if their life depended on it.
:p

Even with a jump to 64-bit OS, there doesn't seem to be a justification to immediately upgrade from XP sp.2 or Linux.
