    Default Brunton Glorb/Egear Quattro mod

Hi Everybody, does anybody know if I buy a Brunton Glorb LED, or equivalent 4 LED version, can I mod it into a OSRAM "like" light using a luxeon I? I can pick up one of these 4 LED lanterns for about $25 and I want to know if it has the same heatsink and circuitry as the OSRAM. Thanks.

Chances are, the heatsink structure is different for 4 5mm LEDs.

Here is the real thing for the same price: Sylvania Lantern

The Bruntons are available for under $20. 3 for $50 at Brookstone. I feel by the time you add in mod costs and your time, you would have nearly twice as much $$ in a light that at best is equal.
