Gee, never heard of them.
But somehow, $8 for a Mini Mag and $16 for a drop in that has half the output of the original bulb doesn't seem to have much appeal when the sum pretty much adds up to the cost of one of the new MiniMag LEDs (not taking into account battery life.)

Out of stock.

The PR2 base version has been out of stock for 2 years.

I got spare Sino Union PR base Night Pearl bulb (2 cell) and LEDcorp Turtlelight bulb (4 cell). If you are interested PM me your address.

How did you manage to dig up those (4 year) old threads on the Night Pearl/Sterlite?

I have one of the older version (without the black heatsink, just pcb board and stuff on it). I dont have neither the time nor the means to do runtime test / comparison test. If you would like Jar, I can send it yourway so you can compare with other led replacement options.
The older version can actually fit into mag 2AAA, which is the host its been into these past years. However, i recently upgraded my mag 2AAA to luxeon, so this led upgrade is just sitting around unused.
