digital terrestrial tv broadcasts in the UK, are going to replace analogue transmissions by 2012.
as far as i am concerned it`s far to soon.
why, because i think the picture quality of freeview varying from channel to channel is poor compared to analog with a good ariel.
the high compression used on the channels even the BBC ones is a shame.
fast moving action, and light to dark pictures, have a lot of breakup.
I have tried over a dozen different freeview boxes, and i am still not happy.
I have perfect picture and signal strength, so thats not the problem.
what do you think of the quality of the digital picture on freeview.
