Another Target bargain

Target has marked down the price of their Eddie Bauer Triplex Tac Torch (actually a Coast LL7745) from $29.95 to $20.86. This is a 3 AAA model with 3 white Nichia LEDs in a natural aluminum finish. It comes with two sets of alkaline batteries (of questionable quality!), but no wrist strap or carrying pouch. It carries the Eddie Bauer brand instead of Led Lenser, although the back of the package states that it is manufactured by Coast Cutlery.

I could not find any of the Coast products on the Eddie Bauer web site, so maybe they have been discontinued. Target had several other Eddie Bauer knives and multi-tools marked down as well.

Please note that this item was found in the camping equipment section of the sporting goods department, not in the flashlight section of the hardware department.

And yes, I couldn't resist. I brought one home.

thanks for the info. I noticed these on Sunday. They some more smaller EB leds on sale but they use the watch type batteries. I passed on the triplex tac torch . I like the 1.5w Coast led at WM for $19.xx better. It looked like Target had some EB & Gerber knives marked down.
