LED Robot Desk Lamp at Lowe's

Not sure if this is the right forum to post it in (mods feel free to move to the corresponding area), but I stopped by the local Lowe's and saw an LED Robot Desk Lamp. So far, it's the only LED table or desk lamp I've ever seen.

It looks exactly like the one above, but has a removable LED bulb (containing 12 LEDs). They're selling it for $29.99 Item # 230246. Pretty neat.

Looks cool, wonder how bright it is?

I have a 20 led screw in bulb from the ccrane company in a lamp, but its a spot light of a 3 inch circle and only useful for reading small books.

I checked the bulb and it said E17 120v LED (12). It comes with an allen wrench to you can pose the thing and tighten the joints.

Apollo, it's not super bright but Amondotech has a nice gooseneck LED desk lamp.

Personally I like the 20 LED 3D desklamp from Innovage bought at the Dollar General. Great runtime with two settings will light up the backyard pretty good. :sold:

That robot lamp looks cool though too bad its not battery powered hmm might be modded by adding a rech. battery pack 7.2
