2400mA 18650 Li-ion battery runs over 1hr
and the head temperature rise upto 45~6 'C (113~115'F) after 15min. (body temperature rise upto 40'C (104'F))

Nice work!

A bitt off-subject, but what keeps the exposed leads around the emitter from shorting inside the reflector housing in the FT-01?

There is O-ring between reflector and emitter module. (inside the reflector housing)

Excellent work! (and pics too)

The LT3479 converter - Is it your own work or commercially available? Either way, I'd like to buy one or two.
