I understand that Toshiba is to sell the blue laser used for Blu-Ray for just $46!!! :)
Something I read in the Compound Semiconductor magazine earlier today.

This is great news for me, as i've got nearly a TB in hard drives which are nearly full.

But, I would like to know which do you think is going to be more popular HD-DVD or Blu-Ray?

I personally would say Blu-Ray as it's already had alot of advancements and has drives already on the market.

According to the little I've read Blu-Ray has already gone beyond the theoretical max capacity of HD-DVD -- if I'm understanding what I'm reading.
