I used to carry the Inova X5 on my belt in a holster, but I switched to the LRI Proton. I still carry it on my belt in its special holster.

I did this because I now work in our company's corporate headquarters, where personal appearance counts, if you know what I mean, and the Proton has a smaller profile.

I'm in a bit of a quandary, though, because I often can't decide between my Proton and my Fenix L1P. Anyone here have the same or a similar problem?

If you spend most of your time in an office environment, my guess is you'd find the Proton more useful with its floody beam and ability to lower the output for longer lifetime. That said, if you find throw a necessity most of the time, the L1P would serve you better. Perhaps the L1T with two output levels might be superior to the L1P in your application.
