Luxogen LR5-3W beamshots...

I received my Luxogen from Waion today and I am very pleased with this little light. I choose this light over the P1 for one reason, looks. The look of the Luxogen really appeals to me. It reminds me of the Jetbeam with the 123 tube. I EDC a Dorcy Super 1 Watt in my pocket running on an 3.7V RCR123. Recently I began looking for a smaller and brighter light to replace the Dorcy and now I have it. I would like to thank jsr for his review of this light, he was right on the money. Here are some beamshots @ approx. 1 meter. All lights are running on fully charged 3.7V RCR123s.

I like mine and prefer it over P1 style also ,

However ....... I wish it had 3 extra features :

Knurling on the head end ( it's just too slick )

Much whiter tint ( mine is quite yellow like yours is )

Some attempt at regulation ( so it wouldn't get so hot in 5 min. )

Where did you get your RCR-123's? Mine won't fit in my LR5-3W. That has been my only complaint so far.

Dae's rechargeables fit perfect.
The 3.0V ones from mattk 's shop labelled Tenergy fit, a little tighter, but they fit. Goodluck!

Mine came from Dae.

I have a MP battery that fits too!
