It's an actual product, and it's sold elsewhere for about that price. I think the official store is at www.flash-lights.com.

Maglite: $15
Diamond 5W LED upgrade with 2xCR123 adaptor: $80 (or $25 without the adaptor)

Shipping for me would be roughly $9 via USPS or $12 via UPS from the seller for the ebay sale - seems fair enough.

5W is a but much for such a small heatsink to deal with, so you may find output dimming after a few minutes.

I don't know how good Diamond's reputation is. I don't remember it as being very good, but haven't kept up with them.

I know, about one year ago, there was Lux V drop-ins on the market. I'm not sure if they was "Diamond" drop-ins. The manufacturer ended the production due to massive heat problems.

It could be possible, that somebody buyed them and want to sell them today in this configuration. It's only my idea of this, because why should they have now no heat problems, since it's the same principle?
