I was wondering if anyone had this light, and if you use rechargeables in it? I was just wondering on what to expect if I use this with a rechargeable system? Is there a drop off in performance? Is the run time better or worse than with standard batteries? It looks like a great light, but a little big to carry as a back up.

It's a good light. I have used both rechargables and primary's on it and they are the same brightness. Runtime would go to the primarys I bet just because they have much more milliamps. Just make sure to use the 3.0volt RCR's and not the 3.6volts.
