I would get the Streamlight 2L Twin Task light which is cheaper, very reliable and the xenon output is higher.

Yup sounds like a twin task clone. Got one. OK but wimpy output on both sides- Incan & LED. Keeps working thought...

The four color options for LEDs make it different than the TT 2L, but without regulation it is no A2 clone.

The biggest difference is probably the switch, the A2 switch definitively makes it worth twice the price.

The switch is awesome, I'll agree, but in my opinion the most important feature of the A2 that this light lacks is regulation. The A2's beam is unbelievable, and it doesn't get yellow and dim, all because of the regulation.

From the ad: "Four-stage on/off switch controls light modes."

How does the switch work (reverse click?) and what re the four stages and light modes?

well, it looks more like an a2 than anything..... it is ha3. I'll have to take a look at that next time i go to cabelas and see how the beam looks.... but it does look like a poor man's a2.
