Looks a great light but I doubt that it can be 5W and "only" a T-bin.

Some of the 5W HD45s have had X-bins in them.

AlanH said at the time it came from the March Batch if that helps. :)

That puts a different complexion on it. A Vf of "T" rather than the lumens output rating. :grin2:

I would edit the description to avoid confusion.

Re: FS McGizmo HD45 5 watt

On a serious note, The W-bins in these lights are almost just as bright as the X-bins were. That batch of XX1T's that showed for a while were on the low side of X while the W's were on the high side.

So in conclusion regardless of what bin the led is (W or X) its a bright light and you cant go wrong. Maybe look at AlanH's posts to see what it was?

Back into my cave now.

EDIT: I am 90% sure it was a WWOT, looking at his posts he ordered it in March, I dont think the X-bins came out ill about June right? But i could be wrong.

Good Job. My WWOT is very bright indeed. Word of caution, only use 3 volt 123's if that is what you are feeding it otherwise you will roast the Lux.:lolsign:
