Cheap 2D flashlight for MOD???

I was wondering if their is a good 2D light for my 2 4AA battery holders and my dewalt 9.6v bulb? I have it in a garrity now. It is a nice (heavy duty) flashlight. The reflector is textured, and I was wondering if another light with possibly a smooth reflector would have more throw? The light would have to be able to withstand some abuse.

I like the old plastic-bodied 2D with a rectangular magnet and a screened image on the body a la "Scooby Doo".

The 4 Battery carrier won't fit in a mag, and I can't find the scooby doo flashlight anywhere. The Flashlight that I have is pretty heavy duty, but I think that something with maybee a smooth reflector might give better throw?
