Where Can I Get an E1x Body For My E2x?

I recently bought an E2E and KL1 (hence LED forum). Where can I get an E1E body for sometimes carry as a one batt light? Surefire does not sell them, per customer service. Is there an aftermarket body?

www.lighthound.com has aftermarket bodies as well as VitalGear's excellent offerings. Just look under accessories there. B/S/T here will also have those pop up from time to time.

Anyone have experience with the Vital Gear FB1 1-batt body that is compatible?

It is shorter than using the E1x body + z57 clickie tailcap, and I have heard of less reports of clickie failures of the VG FB1 body. If the style suits your tastes, by all means, get one. From what I hear, it's not a lemon at all.
