Hi guys,

Do anybody known a led lamp that achieves 10.000 to 15.000 lux out of 3 single LEDs?? I´m looking for something with real throw..

Thanx for any hint!

At this time, FR's highest-throwing LED is the Dorcy 3W lantern. If you want throw, I suggest looking into reflectors and optics. Incans are generally better for brightness/throw.

Hello Mike:)

No stock light. But a custom mod light. Take a look at this light with 4xT-bins and 27mm reflectors. It achieves 11.040 lux at 1m:

My light has 3-Ubins with 20mm reflectors:

So at the end a light with 3xU-bins, slightly overdriven and with 27mm reflectors (the McR27 version should get a little more against to the IMS) should give you the requested lux readings.

Best regards

A mag-mod with a single U-bin emitter driven to 1000mah or over should
give in this region because of the huge mag reflector.

Multiple emitters will give more total light output but probably won't
throw as far.

How 'bout 131,000+ lux? :D (Meter direct reading x 10, as it was set up at the time.) Lamina BL3000 in white, mounted within a stage/theater light reflector.
