10 Watt at Fifth Unit

Hi,

I saw that Fifth-Unit has a new review page with a lot more chinese flashlights reviewed. One of them is called the Fakse which has the biggest throw values so far.

Has anyone tried one of these? It seems very good value for money. It even comes with two sets of reflectors!

I have just ordered my L2P with L1P body combo. If I am lucky I will received my first LED light . As to these cheap LED light. I am a bit concern the quality of these torch. I will quote one of the customer of Fifth-Unit.

"I got this flashlight a couple weeks ago and from the moment i powered it up... loved it . However about two days after getting it clicked the switch to turn it on..and nothing happened. I gave it a little shake and it came on very dimly, then i tapped it a few times and it came back at full brightness and then went to dim again. It seems to be tempermental, but works MOST of the time. I sent you guys an email about it but have yet to hear back."

This kind of worries me.

I however would like more reassurance from forum members that have dealing with these lights before I would consider purchasing them.

I think you get what you pay for in a lot of cases.

I've been happy with it (and the others) so far, but I haven't yet used them extensively.

PS: The Ultrafire AA (WF-602A1) does much better on a 1.5V lithium

I've gotten several items from FifthUnit and i think that it is a good deal for the money. They are also a pleasure to deal with - very responsive. 'cept for the length of delivery time.

I bought two 606A's

One faulty.

They offered to pay return postage.
