Received 12 SS-AA lights today. 1 kept for myself; 2 reserved for friends; 5 sold; 4 available for sale now.








The light is custom made by my friend, and he is making a few, this one is the sample. They're all hand polished, so it does take time to make one. This is a limited run, I'll be getting 10 to 15 pieces, no more than 25.

Details:
---- Material: Stainless Steel 304
---- Input voltage: 0.9v ~ 4.5v; Current regulated.
---- IC circuit board provides 6 stages: 50% --> 30%--> 10% --> 100% --> (Strobe 10Hz --> SOS)
Press the button to turn on the light, slightly touch the tail to change stage;
Last two stages are tactical mode. Turn off the light in these two stages, the light will stay in Strobe or SOS when you turn on it again & again.
To quit tactical mode, simply touch the button to change to any of the previous 4 levels when the light is on, then turn it off.
---- Water resistant. Single O-ring towards the K9 crystal glass (about 97% transparency) in the front; Double O-rings seals both head and tail. Totally 5 O-rings.
---- New lights will use orange peel aluminum reflector.
---- LED: TWOJ
---- Weight: Approximately 170g

Why 2AA? I have one secret weapon here if you don't like 14500, check this out:

3.0V Lithium Battery(not rechargeable), Capacity--1800mah
This one will give you the 2AA result

Cool batteries, where do you get them? Up untill now the only way I knew of to get 3.0volt lithiums was to tear apart CRV3's.

3V Lithiums.. Yes I m IN, i would put them in a whole lot of lights....

Where to get them? how much do they cost? are they from AW?

Besides hand polishing, what else is custom in this flashlight?

It looks like a Fenix/Jetbeam/Lumapower production unit but in Stainless Steel.

Well, The IC program is designed all by him, and the light engine is also hand assembled by him alone......
