U2 Bezel on the M951 body?

Has anyone used the U2 bezel with the M951 body? I mean actually used, mounted on a rifle, firing a couple of clips worth of ammo. Just wonder if the U2 bezel would take it, or not?

Does anyone know if Surefire approves the use of the U2 bezel on a weaponlight?

Just spoke with a Surefire Customer Rep (Doug), and he doesn't recommend using the U2 bezel on a Universal Weaponlight body (mounted on an M4). Also asked about the new Kroma flashlight bezels, and he didn't recommend using those either. Doug didn't say I couldn't do it, but he didn't think they would take it.

Hmmm. You're right, somebody with real-world experience needs to share with us. I don't see why the U2 lamp module shouldn't be used... I understood it was designed as a Lamp Module for WeaponLight interchangeability.
