According to the Inova website, the red version of the X5 only uses 1 CR123A. Considering the lower voltage requirements of red LEDs, this makes sense. The part that confuses me is that all X5s have the same body. Does it come with a dummy? If you can still fit 2 batteries in there, then maybe this is a good candidate for a 17670 (which doesn't do much for the other X5s). Just curious.
