I have just got some Infra Red LED's to make a video camera illuminator. They are simple tip of plastic with the LED and 2 pins coming from them.
My choice is should I bother putting say 3/4/5 sigle LED's in reflectors(in Mag head) or use an array of 10-15 without reflector?
I would prefer throw over flood,
