Inova doesn't have any XO2 mentioned on their site; are you referring to the newest version of the XO?

Hello Marin, if you XO2 you mean the 2nd gen XO, than the two are only a bit different. I have the original XO from Inova, and it's positives are excellent build quality, nice runtime. The negatives are it's throw is too short to be a thrower (less than the P1) but the beam is way too narrow to light up a room...kind of got the worst of both worlds. With the newer version, it's still the same Luxeon I LED, but Inova changed the reflector to project a wider beam, making it more floody, but end up having less throw than before. It's not a bad light, but for a 2 123A light around the same money, there are quite a few brighter choices (but with less runtime).

The XO2 is just like the old XO with the TIROS lens except it supposedly pushing 2 watts now. It's a new model.

I think they mention it in the FAQ on Inova's website.
