I have one of the early manufactured ARC-LS LEDs that has "Run #927" printed on it. It uses just one Li 123 (torch is the size of my thumb) and I bought another battery holder for it so that it can use the larger AA. Of course, that one is quite a different look. Can someone tell me anything about this. I was one of the early adopters of LED technology, and remember just having to own this thing. I still carry it in my travel vest.

Completely off topic, but this just made me think of how totally I am truly geek-ed out, as my wardrobe consists of 2 Tumi Travel Vests (so I can carry all those "geek" things), so I'm way beyond hope, but have a feeling that I am among kindred spirits (lol). Pants from Mountain Hard Wear...you get it....

Cool light, I must concur, and one of my favourites as well.

Try looking at the FAQ in the ARC forum for all you need to know about the fantastic LS and its stablemates.

Version five on the way, yipeee!

Be lucky...
