Does anyone have any knowledge or insight into whether the Inova's XO3 and or XO can take rechargable lithiums?

I saw Target recently has these lights. Although I can get the batteries pretty cheaply from online sources, my preference would be to use rechargables, if possible.

ONLY regulated 3.0V RCR's. Inovas do Not like higher voltage. I use 3.0V RCR's with no problem (so far) but they seem to run a little higher than 3.0, maybe 3.1-3.2V under load. They measure ~3.6 under no load.

I use the 3.0v RCR's too. They work fine but don't fade, they just blink out.
Also the Pila charger doesn't like them, it thinks they're an open circuit when they are nearly up to charge. Use the special charger that you can buy for these cells. HTH.

The XO3 can take rechargeable but "NOT THE XO"
