What is this companys deal?
I have a freebie 2-cr123 coming my way, so of course I did a little research and I am finding alot of comments that steer towards Goncz not being a good deal.
It looks like alot of threads even in CPFU are gone in reference to them.

Is it the product that is the problem, or is the Company itself?

By all means the light seems to be very nice, claiming 300 lumens though? I will test it against my 6P

This is the light.
Mods, feel free to delete this link if you see fit.

"All-American craftsmanship" from some Eastern European country, no doubt. "Standart," "They are featuring the thread-less," "batteries, that has 10 years of shelf life," "When you adding an adaptor," etc., etc. Who in their right mind would use an $18,000 flashlight for self-defense or diving?

I get a very poor impression from this company.

Never buy anything from John Goncz 1st off, then run like hell the opposite direction. The kindest thing that can be said about JG is he talks a good game. Have you ever watched the Flim Flam man with George C Scott.
